Time flies...
When your having fun. I can't believe I haven't posted anything since December. We have been busy, but not that busy. We spent Christmas in a hotel again. I wish Clint would at least stay in a place with a pool or other activities that are available so we wouldn't get so bored. It was not as bad as I was expecting. We were in Cheyenne and the weather was actually very nice. Who gets to go feed the ducks and geese on Christmas day? I haven't ever. The only downfall of being away from home for Christmas is there is no where to go eat a home cooked meal. Or even close to one. I think if we ever do this again I will be prepared with my handy dandy crock pot. Sometimes it takes three times to get it right! Just after the first of the year my grandfather passed away. I wasn't expecting it and it kind of took me by surprise. All I can say is I am so glad I was able to go to the Christmas party this year and I sat on his bed and chatted with him a little. Sometimes it takes losing someone to realize how special they are and what kind of an impact they had on our lives. At the end of January we went on a Disney cruise. It was not my first but first for Clint and the kids. We went with Emily and her family and my dad and Beverly. We had a blast. There were so many kids on this cruise because they had a promotion that kids go free. It was still fun. The kids always had activities going on all day and all night. The older kids would even stay out until 1 or 2 in the morning. Towards the end of the cruise you could tell that the late hours were starting to wear on them and they would end up in bed a lot earlier. This February our sheep started lambing. We try to have them born early in February so they are ready for the county fair in August. We have two black face sheep that had five little show lambs. They are so cute. We have three boys and two girls. This was the first time we produced our own show lambs instead of buying them from a breeder. We have at least two that I think will do really well. We also have Ashley's four white face ewe's that lambed about a month later. We got 2 really cute black and white ones that look like little Holstein calves. The rest of them are all white. We have 11 babies....we did have 11...up until a couple of days ago we had 11. One of the black face ewe's had triplets and the little runt was so small that we had to bottle feed the little guy because he could not reach the mom's udders. We grew to love this little guy so much and he loved us just as much in return...only because we were his source of food...TJ is his name. He would follow us around like a puppy and he would come when he heard our voices. Lambs usually run away from anything but their own mom. I loved this little lamb so much. It has truly broken my heart to lose him. I still cry about it only because when he died he did suffer and I was with him the whole time not really knowing what to do until it was too late. I will handle things differently if this ever happens again. I will miss little TJ for a while and my heart is broken but I know I will get past this. So now I am all up to date hopefully I will keep it up.

Merry Christmas
I wish I had some pictures to post, but we are having a heat wave and the snow is melting so it doesn't seem to feel like christmas. We do have a new addition to the family...her name is Harlee and she is a border collie. As soon as I can get her to sit still I will post some pictures of her. She is a ball of cute furriness. She is so playful and her and Sadie have their good days and bad days, But so far no major fighting and they do drink out of the same bowl at the same time...all Harlee's idea.
I have been helping out alot at the kids' school. It has been so much fun. Sugar has the biggest teacher crush I have ever seen. Mr Menlove is by far the best teacher she has ever had. Even though she is only in first grade she knows this to be a fact. Spencer really likes his teacher too. Mr Pugmire was made to work with 5th graders.
Christmas is sneaking up on my really fast this year. We just got our tree up and I think it is already dead. I keep watering the thing but I am not sure it will last. The same thing happened last year so I am not sure how to keep a real tree from drying out so fast before Christmas. Oh well next year I am for sure getting a fake tree. I will miss the fresh scent but I won't miss the dry crooked messy real tree.

Fair time again.
It happens every year around this time. I just love this time of year. The kids work so hard to get to this point and it always pays off somehow. These are just some pictures of Dax(my nephew) and Sugar with the new duds they got today. They are showing our pygmy goats because they are not 4H age and they can show them in an open class.

Our Trip to Rawlins, Wyoming...
So we went to see Clint in Rawlins....But while we were there we tried to avoid the wind and have some fun. I am not very adventurous so exiting the freeway to go see something that I have never seen before is about scary enough for me. I hate being lost and I can't read a map so we did really good finding the places we went to. On our way there we saw the cool windmills. That was about as exciting as the drive got. The most exciting thing was that I downloaded about $30 worth if music on my Ipod so we had some great music to sing to on the way to and from.
We went to Fort Bridger and saw and learned some new things that we didn't know about Jim Bridger. When we were in Rawlins we went to this old prison that was shut down and they were doing tours. I was secretly hoping it was haunted. I wanted to experience a haunted jail, but it was just cold and dreary. The kids got to sit in the gas chamber and that was cool. We took our new puppy so we were kind of limited on the things we could do but we did take her to the prison and Fort Bridger.

Prom Again...
Okay I know it has been a long time since I posted anything. So here goes another posting with prom. This is not the same as the last one this one is SR. prom. Ashley went with "Bob". She had a crush on him until maybe a month before prom but he already asked her and then another boy asked her and she got all emotional and stuff. We made an agreement that she would always go with the first person that asked her so there would be no stress but that was not how it worked. She had a great time and got to dance with the boy who asked her 2nd. He ended up going with his sisters friend so it all worked out for everyone. OH the drama!
