Annual Lobster boil

Well its that time of year for our annual lobster boil. Clint's sister lives in Maine and for the past 3 years that she has come to visit for the summer she has brought with her the most delicious treat. LOBSTERS! Last year a few of them died and this year they all survived long enough for us to cook em' and eat em'. She also brought Lindt chocolate truffles from Maine. It also happened to be mine and Clint's 17th wedding anniversary. Whew, I can't believe it. I don't feel like it has been that long. It was a fun day and the sun was around long enough for us to enjoy the day and then it was gone the next day.
This is Guss(Clints nephew) making the lobster dance.

We like to play with our food before we eat it.

Into the pot they go.

Ogden Dinosaur Park & Train station

Saturday we went to the dinosaur museum in Ogden. We tried to go to the train station but the line to see the Disney movie train exhibit had a 3 hour wait so we found something better to do. Sugar found this worm hanging from a string and felt the need to take it home. After a few little tears we decided to not put it in her pocket and leave it there.

Here are the pictures we did manage to take at the Ogden train station.

Jeepin'

Clint was home alone with the boys last week while the girls were in St. George and I was at my sisters. They got the jeep going and they had so much fun. They took us all for a ride when we all got back. Spencer is a good driver going forward and Tanner is terrible at backing up but he will have plenty of time to practice this summer. Ashley got the hang of a stick shift and found out how hard it is to drive without power steering.
This jeep has been in our family for about 17 years Clint bought it when we were first married and it has been just sitting around. I really think it is an eyesore and I wish he would get rid of it, Until I saw how much fun the kids had and what big smiles they all had. Ashley and I are going to try to make some seat covers to cover up the big rips. I even got to drive and the windows are so dirty that I had to have Spencer help me back it up.

This is the flooding from the storm we had yesterday. The hail and the rain and the wind and the lightning and thunder. It was all very noisy and very exciting. I had just finished mowing the front lawn and I had just taken the grass to the recycle place and then all "hail" broke loose. We were all so shocked and amazed. Ashley and Tanner were at mutual cleaning up the cemetery. So you can imagine they were just drenched when they got home.
These are the hailstones.

This is our deck in the back. This all happened probably within 1 hours time.
